Background and Credentials

Dr. Paik is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Paik continued his specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the world-renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma center in Baltimore. During this rigorous training, he completed rotations in anesthesia, general surgery, and head & neck trauma.

Dr. Paik's past accomplishments include presenting his research at the national specialty meeting during his chief year, and being elected by his colleagues as one of the top Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons in New Jersey two years in a row.

Dr. Paik has advanced surgical training and interest in removal of impacted teeth, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, sinus lifts, and corrective jaw surgery. He currently holds teaching and hospital privileges at the University of Maryland Medical Center and University of Maryland School of Dentistry as Dean's faculty.

During his free time, Dr. Paik loves to spend time with his beautiful wife, Meena (also a pediatric dentist) and their son, Noah!
